Booster Heater Spares?

Hi guys, There used to be someone on here that sold the booster heater glowplugs. Anyone know either where he went or how i can get hold of one.. Ta

i was motorcareman when i ran a spares shop, i sold it as i got sick of it. you can get the plugs from g.s.f branches. ask for a beru gh001, that plug covers most models up to around 04/05 reg, thats the stock number not the part number. any branch shoul dbe able to supply as they keep a stock at a central warehouse. around Edited October 6, 2008 by marinabrid

Sorry to hijack your post but i cant seem to start one it keeps giving me an error

 

anyway i am trying to find out the location of the aux heater glowplug

we have a 2005 td ghia x and its got the dreded smoke problem :16: although its not as excessive as some of the ones i have read

i fear its only going to get worse as we head into colder times

i intend on changing the glowplug myself

if anyone could help me with advice and info on where it is and how easy it is to change

Do a search on here there is loads of info and also what tools you need, where it is etc... I would think that you would need a glowplug from a main dealer as yours may have two wires on it (check first)

There may even be some pics on here too.
